Franco Colombani award

From 1960 to 1990 Franco Colombani became an example for young people who were able to follow him.

The award is given to the best wine taster or the person who has best understood the culture and history of wine.

 

Edition 2012

Ca' del Bosco and Le Soste Association, on the occasion of the Association's thirtieth anniversary, gave the Franco Colombani Award to Manoel Beato as a recognition for his activity as a promoter of Italian wines in the world and particularly in Brazil and South America.

2010 edition

Ca' del Bosco and Le Soste awarded Franco Colombani prize to Tonino Trimboli in recognition of his professional activity and for his life dedicated to the knowledge of wine.

2007 edition

On the 25th anniversary of the Association, Ca' del Bosco and Le Soste awarded Franco Colombani Prize to the best young wine taster Fabrizio Sartorato in recognition of his professional activity.

2004 edition

Ca' del Bosco and "Le Soste" awarded Franco Colombani prize to Savio Bina in recognition of his professional activity.

2000 edition

In 2000 the award was given to the american wine taster Ralph Hersom.

1997 edition

In 1997 the award was given to the japanese wine taster Etsuro Kotani.
The award cerimony took place in San Patrignano.
